An Altadena Homecoming Made Possible and What's Upcoming in May

An Altadena Homecoming

In April, two longtime Altadena residents who lost their homes in the Eaton Fire returned to their neighborhood. Ms. Carolyn and Ms. Ana, each with more than 30 years in the community, moved into Model/Z ADUs placed on their property as part of The SoLa Foundation's Restore and Rebuild Initiative.

We celebrated this collaborative effort alongside neighbors and friends with a BBQ by 60th Street Cafe and a chorus performance by Rosebud Academy.

Following last month's ADU placement, both homes are now fully equipped with power and water, providing safe interim housing for Ms. Carolyn and Ms. Ana as they begin rebuilding. Each home has been fully furnished and ready for move-in thanks to the support of The Shared Harvest Foundation, Holhaus, and A Sense of Home.

What could have taken years was made possible in months through our modular production.

The factory that built 6200 Broadway is open for tours. If you're planning a multifamily project, schedule a visit at info@model-z.com.
